- After attending a funeral at which the 23rd Psalm was read in words almost totally unrecognizable by the majority of the persons in attendance, I decided that I needed a copy of this Bible. The new translations are good for study but nothing beats the beauty, inspiration and comfort of the King James version. This is the best of both worlds.
- This is my second one. I spilled water on the first few pages of my original one and when I finish it, I will begin again in my new one.
- It's a very simple bible,(no commentary, very few references, no index) but I would be ok with all of that however I will be returning it because Jesus' words are not in red. I am looking more for a study parallel bible and this is not for studying.
- I purchased this for my son for Christmas. He loves that both versions are included so that if he does not understand something in the KJV he can read how the NIV interprets the scriptures.
