"This first book in Black Aces series is awesome and I loved it. I loved all the danger, the slow romance taking place and I really hate this mayor. They need to get rid of him.
But the Black Ace, wow, he is a really good guy and this town desperately needs him.

Anyway if you don’t know what I am talking about, you need to get this book that I highly recommend it. You should start with Abigale form the Alphabet Mail Order Bride series also by this author. Then the two books right after, Lucas’s Lady and Verrick’s Vixen and then start this new series. You will love all these stories by Ms. Lee.

Get these books and get started on a wild western historical ride."

Ante Up Black Aces Book 1 edition by Caroline Lee Romance eBooks Reviews

  • Reminded me of the TV shoe lone ranger, the heat level Just didn't seem necessary It really doesn't add to the story line. Average western romances with humor, good characters and great dialogue. All the typical characters developed well ...even the bad guys are fully realized

  • It’s the Wild West with a Zorro type character! A monster of a man took over the town of Black Aces as well as it’s mine. Demands were made and someone in a black cape on a black horse came to the rescue. Other than the touch of romance in the story, the highlight was saving a small child. Little Cinco or Solomon, whichever name he was given, seemed to add light to the darkness of the town. The book is short and a good afternoon read.
  • I love this Book, it was great, and I enjoyed Hart and his helping everyone in town, the town has big problems with King and his mean helpers. I hope the Black Ace can settle it all, which ever one it takes. Thanks Caroline Lee, I can't wait for the next book.
  • A town under control of a tyrant and two people who work to defy him and help their town to survive. Secrets and shadows hide identities but two hearts are searching for security and home. A very entertaining read.
  • Loved every moment of this story. Hart and Regina are delightful. King is just as awful as he was in Caroline's previous books. Great HEA
  • Seriously heads above most western romances with humor, good characters and great dialogue. All the typical characters but well developed...even the bad guys are fully realized.
  • I enjoyed the storyline and the characters enough, that I preordered Book 2 Three of a Kind, due out in June. JudyE
